I stayed on the Club Level, which I recommend for a more exclusive experience. The rooms could use a good refurbishment and are comfortable but not new. The service was a mix of rudeness and extreme friendliness, with a tendency to ask unnecessary questions. The location brilliantly resembles old Nepal with its stupas and statues, offering a break from pollution and being conveniently close to the airport and Boudhanath Stupa. Dining was exceptional, providing a wide range of delicious dishes. Overall, a stay with highs and lows.

I had a pleasant stay at the hotel, with clean and spacious rooms offering nice bathrooms and views of the Stupa. However, the rooms are showing signs of age and could benefit from refurbishment. The service provided by the staff, especially Nirman the head barman and others like Juna, Salina, and Shreeti, was courteous and helpful. The location was superb, set back from the bustling streets of Kathmandu in a Victorian-style building near the Stupa, making it a terrific place close to the airport and within walking distance to the Boudhanath Stupa. The dining experience was delicious, offering a wide variety of cuisines with a local touch, and the facilities were well-maintained.
